#ANALYSIS

It was a clear, dominant win for Covington. I don't know what was wrong with Robbie, but he wasn't throwing punches at all. Covington won the grappling game, and more than that he was doing well with his striking (as Lawler wasn't doing anything to counter Colby's jabs and short punches). Robbie did a good job at getting up along the cage when taken down, but the relentless pressure of Covington was something to be amazed at. He threw over 500 punches and attempted 18 takedowns and the pace he kept for 5 rounds against a legit, dangerous opponent. That is some elite level cardio that no one can deny. It must be Usman vs Covington for the undisputed title next. It's interesting to see how the Dana politics will work out as Masvidal is also in the title contention picture.

I'm really happy for Jim Miller, he has been around for such a long time. Nasrat seems to be a legit young contender. It's interesting to see him back in the cage as soon as possible.
