Jon Jones vs Anthony Smith
Jon "Bones" Jones arguably one of the greatest mix martial artist of all time. Jones is going to make light work of Anthony "Lionheart" Smith. Jones' performance in his last fight coming of a long suspension was a master piece. It was a performance that no one could have foreseen. The first time he faced Alexander Gustafsson, it was a war and blood bath. Alexander hit Jones like we had before seen, it was a 5 round war in which Jones would win in decision. The rematch was not the case, Bones Jones has reached another level, he dismantled Gustafsson methodically, strategically and gracefully. Jones was in a class of his own. Smith has risen very fast in the rankings, but he has fought former champions who are pretty much on their last hurrah. Smith has not been tested against formidable fighters who are in their prime or on a level of a DC or Gustafsson. Jon "Bones" Jones by TKO in 3 round.
Tyron Woodley vs Kamaru Usman
Tyron Woodley is beast in a class of his own, he will arguably be one of the greatest welterweights of all time when its all said and done. Other than GSP he has fought the old dogs of the welterweight division and the new era fighters. He has defended his title time and time again. Twood is often in the middle of controversy in and out of the octagon. it is allways something with him, either he is barely fight due to minor injures or not taking performaning at a high level against Demain Maia. Whatever the case, Woodley is a winner and mix martial artist who is extremely skilled. Kamaru Usman is truly a nigerian nightmare, he a force to deal with in the octagon. Woodley and Usman are both collegiate wrestlers. Usman at the division II level and Woodley in division I. In this fight, I believe Woodley will be one level better than Usman. Woodley has better striking and wrestling than Usman. Woodley will drop Usman and submit him.
Robbie Lawler vs Ben Askren
Robbie Lawler is a bad man, who has fought in many exciting fights in the UFC But how much more punishment can this man take? The body eventually slows down and this could be Robbie's last fight. Ben Askren is Tyron Woodley sparring partner and teammate. Tyron Woodley has fought Robbie and won via KO, while Askren does not possess the hands Woodley has. Wooldley will be very good at posturing as Lawler for Askren. This fight is a really good setup fight for Askren, classic stiker vs grappler. I got Ben Askren via submission.
Tecia Torres vs Weili Zhang
This fight is going to be a war between two tough fighters, expect nonstop action because they will go at it all 3 rounds. Zhang is a new prospect who is getting her first real test in the UFC against a veteran like Torres. Zhang striking is really good, she is strong and very solid in the striking. Tecia Torres have more experience in the UFC, she is no push over and is very strong herself. I see Torres using her strength and taking this fight to the ground and winning by unanimous decision.
Cody Garbrandt vs Pedro Munhoz
Cody "No Love" Garbrandt is taking on Pedro munhoz, Munhoz has put on some good wins as of late and is fighting for the number 1 contender spot in this fight. No love is coming of two brutal KO losses to the Champion TJ Dillashaw. In this matchup do not sleep on Pedro Munhoz. Munhoz is very well rounded fighter, he is really good and has experience in MMA and the UFC. This is American Top Team vs Team Alpha Male, classic matchup between the some of the best teams in MMA. Garbrandt is a former champ, he is no joke and is bigger than most bantamweights. There was a reason why he was the champion, his striking is up there with the best. Munhoz has not faced a fighter like Garbrandt. "No Love" by TKO is first round.
