There's been a lot of talk lately about whether or not Darren Till would make weight for his Championship fight against Tyron Woodley.

As an Englishman and Liverpool FC supporter, I'm a huge fan of the Scouse fighter, but the questions are fair.Having missed weight in May 2018 in his fight against Stephen Thompson, all eyes were on the scale this time around. It's something you don't want to see as an MMA fan. These guys are peak condition professional athletes. Part of their job is to make sure they make weight. It's unprofessional not to.

Of course, there are arguments to be made about the dangers of extreme weight cutting, but we'll save that for another post. So, let's get to the weigh-ins.

Nothing to Worry About

As I'd hoped, Till has silenced the noise and weighed in today at 169 lbs.

Woodley caused a little bit of a stir when he was announced at 171 lbs, but thankfully was able to hit 170 lbs by removing his shorts.

So it's now official. The Championship fight will take place tomorrow, and I couldn't be more excited. I'll be rooting for Till. How about you?
