Well, that's what Jorge has said!
Masvidal has come out and openly stated that the UFC have promised him a title shot if he beats Ben Askren on July 6th at UFC 239. Ben Askren obviously has something to say about this:
"Well, they had to dangle a carrot in front of him to accept this beating!"
As we know, both men are super confident in their skills. Also, Jorge was recently on the Joe Rogan Experience and has really expressed his dislike for Askren. He has even gone as far to say he has never disliked an opponent this much!
A title shot for the winner thought? Could be - but will Masvidal fight his friend Colby if Colby beats Usman....? What about if Tyron Woodley beats Robbie Lawler, surely he will get a shot and him and Ben won't fight...

I personally am still not sure what to think of Askren just yet, but this will be a good test for both men. No doubt Ben has the wrestling advantage.
Talking of wrestling, do yourself a favour and watch Colby Covington vs Jorge Masvidal wrestling in a hotel room for an hour! Colby is rag dolling him and seriously dominating. Colby's no joke.
