Those pesky Picograms!
Jones was given a 1 fight pass enabling him to compete this weekend in Vegas. The man is undergoing stringent testing from USADA, VADA, and NSAC.
He has tested positive for 40, and 20 picograms of the same illegal substance he was banned from recently, the Turinabol metabolite. Jones is still cleared to fight as this is said to still be from his past PED use, and it is traces of the drug being flush out from his system, which is why it is found in such minute quantities.
It seems that only NSAC are picking up on this. Either way, the fight is on, and Jones' opponent Anthony Smith believes that Jones isn't on steroids, this time.
Chaos for The Nigerian Nightmare
UFC Welterweight Interim Champ Colby Chaos Covington made an appearance in Vegas during Kamaru Usman's open workout! Wearing his MAGA hat, shades, holding his UFC belt, and, with a mega phone, Colby begins to shout as Usman saying "Enjoy getting knocked out" and the "real champ is here", and "How's it feel to be number 2 in the world".

Colby then left the scene and had a few interviews. He does state that "nobody wants to see these boring fights" and "Dana White, Uncle Fester, is scared of me.... If I'm not next I will go somewhere else..... title shot next or I'm leaving the UFC".
Colby believes that "Woodley will starch Usman" and also that The Nigerian Nightmare is "beginning to show signs of CTE"...
I was almost expecting Colby to show up at some point, and I am glad he did. Think what you want about Colby, but the man won the interim belt and this is Woodley's second title defence since Colby won the strap. I think Colby showing up brings a little more attention to him again, and surely he will be getting the next title shot. We know it will be exciting as everyone has beef with Colby! I just hope it is against Woodley!
