Only 2 rounds left in the first installment of this contest and what a barnburner UFC has in store for us! (Source) UFC Fight Night Ngannou vs Velasquez The main event is one of the most exciting heavyweight bouts in a long time. Cain and his 3 fights with JDS is the reason I started religiously watching UFC so I am very happy that he's back! And I am very hopeful that he is healthy and strong! UFC 234 Picks
Most Confident Picks Jonathan Martinez VS Wuliji Buren This fight is a close fight but, I am going with Wuliji Buren (+120) for the upset. Martinez is striker who has some ground game but he is just too small for this division, he should go to flyweight in my opinion. He got overpowered in his UFC debut against Andre Soukhamthat, I expect the same thing to happen against Buren. Both fighters are looking for their first win in the UFC, I see Buren taking this fight to the ground and winning by decision. Pick: Buren (+120) Kyung Ho Kang VS Teruto Ishihara The blue print is out on how to beat Ishihara, while every fight is different, this fight is grappler vs striker, respectively and Ishihara struggles off his back. Ishihara has power in his punches but I am expecting Kang to take this fight to the ground and get the submission. Kang is a big bantamweight, he has a good chin but do not be surprised if he takes this fight to the ground. Pick: Kang (-375) Shane Young VS Austin Arnett Arnett is big fighter for bantamweight division but right off the bat, he has not put the pieces together in his overall game. Shane Young is the more talented fighter, able to strike and use his ground game to get out of trouble. Expect to see Young take this fight to the ground and grind out the win. Pick: Young (-315) Least Confident Picks Callan Potter (+180) Lando Vannata (-450) Raulian Paiva (+200) Devonte Smith (-260) Sam Alvey (+115) Nadia Kassem (+200) Rani Yahya (-115) Anderson Silva (+375) Robert Whittaker (-240)
