Ana Carrasco, has entered into history for being the first woman to have won an official race of a two-wheeled competition.

Born in Murcia on March 10, 1997, at the age of 4 he was already riding a motorcycle to take part in his first race and in 2005, at the age of 8, he made his debut in a single-brand tournament organized by Jorge "Aspar" Martinez, and then continue in various other categories, such as the 70cc, then 80cc and PreGP 125cc, making itself known for the excellent results.

The turning point in his career took place in 2011, when at 14 he had the opportunity to compete in the CEV 125GP, riding an Aprilia RSA, obtaining a prestigious 13th place in the final classification, a season that sees her 3 times in the top 10 , with in particular the 7th place conquered in Barcelona.

These good results are worth him, for the following season of 2012, the place in the Laglisse team, on a Honda NSF250R.

Here the Carrasco gets another two top 10 finishes in the CEV and the 11th place in the European Championship, results that convince the team owner Jaime Fernández Avilés to give her the great world chances.

WORLD DEBUT

Ana Carrasco made her debut in 2013 in the Moto3 World Championship with the KTM of the Laglisse team.

The Spaniard during her first season had difficulty adapting, suppressing the beginnings, but then gradually she managed to get more and more familiar with the "real bikes", until obtaining a very prestigious 15th place in the Sepang race, entering the history as the first girl to have won points in the Moto3 World Championship.

The best feat took her to the last race in Valencia, where she even scored at the eighth final place, sealing a growing season finale. For the record, his teammate was Maverick Viñales who graduated that year World Champion

CRISIS

In the 2014 season, Ana Carrasco risks, due to a lack of budget, to stay out of the races, only to find a place with Jarno Janssen's RW Racing team, riding a Kalex-KTM.

The season does not offer the Spanish particular satisfactions, two twentieth places at Mugello and at the Sachsenring and the final ends worse with the last 4 races not disputed due to economic problems

In the following season, year 2015, he returns with the KTM of the RBA Racing team but his luck is immediately turned away, an injury before the start of the season and then the other at the German GP, negatively affects the season that sees it, as best results, 2 eighteen places, one at Le Mans and the other at Phillip Island.

The two difficult years spent in Moto 3 lead Carrasco out of the World and looking for a new opportunity to seek the revival.

Someone who still believes in her is there and the opportunity presents itself in the CEV Moto2 with the MVR, but the trust of the team is not repaid and the results are disappointing.

PASSAGE TO 300 in 2017

In the third year of disappointment and disappointing results, the avenue of sunset seemed inevitable for the brave Spanish, but finds an unexpected opportunity in the newborn World Supersport 300.

For Carrasco it is probably the last beach, I have the revival or the premature end of his short career.

His determination led her to be immediately competitive and already at the second race at the Assen circuit, she finishes in eighth place, after having fought for the positions that count for most of the race.

ENTERPRISE

At Portimao he makes a great start, from the front row, for the entire race fighting for the first position and the last lap, managing to take the wake of the Yamaha of García, wins in a sprint on his Kawasaki.

For the first time a woman manages to win an official two-wheeled race.
