Maverick Vinales felt he was on the right track after taking the podium in two consecutive series. The Movistar Yamaha rider will again hunt for the podium in the Czech Republic MotoGP.
Vinales climbed the podium at the Dutch MotoGP and German MotoGP after finishing third in the two series. This is the first time Vinales has won two podiums in a row this season.
Vinales is now ranked third in the MotoGP rider with 109 points. The Spanish rider is under Marc Marquez (165 points) and Valentino Rossi (119 points).
After enjoying a two-week holiday, Vinales is preparing to appear in the Czech Republic MotoGP this weekend. He hopes the positive trend will continue.
"I really enjoyed the summer holidays. It's very important to get this break in the middle of the season to break and then come back with enough strength to be able to face the second half of the season," Vinales was quoted as saying by Crash.net.
"From now on we can no longer make mistakes. In recent weeks I have been training hard to be ready for Brno and Austria, two tracks that I really like and where I think I can be tough and chase the podium like in the last few races."
"Once again, I would like to congratulate my team who have managed to move forward. Motor works well at Assen and Sachsenring and I feel very good on it. However, we have to continue to work and fight because we are on the right track and we can't give up, "said the former Suzuki rider.
