Three teams have completed closed testing at the Motorland Aragon Circuit, Spain, recently. It is Movistar Yamaha, Ducati Corse, and Pramac Ducati.

In this test the Yamaha team through its two drivers, Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales did not test too much because there was nothing new from an electronic device that needed to be tested. They were only asked to focus on the next race at Misano on 9 September.

There is a unique view when Jonas Folger is seen present in this test. Although only a spectator, but his presence has at least signaled that he would become a M1 Yamaha motorbike driver in Europe.

Unlike Yamaha, the Ducati factory and manufacturing team actually tested several electronic devices. Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso used this test to perfect the Desmosedici GP18 arrangement. The sensation gained is far more satisfying.

Ready to race

The reason, Lorenzo successfully recorded the fastest time while beating Vinales records in the past year, with a time of 1 minute 47 006 seconds. Meanwhile, Pramac drivers Jack Miller and Danilo Petrucci also appear competitive.

"We are very happy with how the test is running. Our time record is very good and we are ready to race as well as we can," said Pramac boss Francesco Guidotti, quoted by GPOne on Friday (08/31/2018).
