Danilo Petrucci has been loving the world of racing since he was four years old. The father introduced Petrucci to this two-wheeled vehicle.

Petrucci's father explained that when he worked at the Paddock Grand Prix in 1991, he often invited his son who was only a year old. He was always happy to see the motorbike at that time.

"I started working at the Paddock GP in 1991. Danilo was always there and saw racing machines," Danilo recalled as quoted from Speedweek, Sunday (08/19/2018).

When Petrucci began his GP career in 2012, he already had a person in Paddock, his father who had worked for years for various GP teams.

Manufacturer Racer

Being in a racer's environment makes Petrucci grow as a jockey. Even next year, he will become a factory racer with the Ducati Corse team.

"I can't imagine that he (Petrucci) will be a MotoGP rider. But I only go to the pit for a minute or two, because he's a grown man and doesn't need his father in the pit. The best place for a father is in the stands. always say that, "Danilo said.
