Hey y’all I’m @hellsbelle and I’m really nervous to write this, but I feel like y’all are a community full of warm and welcoming people. So here it goes!

Hey y'all!

When people ask me what I’m into I always panic and draw a blank. I’m not the stereotypical athletic girl who played volleyball throughout high school and dated the captain of the football team. As a matter of fact I don’t really like watching too many sports that involve balls and jerseys.

I grew up with NASCAR on T.V. in the background on Sunday afternoons while I played with my Barbies on the living room floor. Jeff Gordon was my first crush and my poor heart broke when I found out that he was already married. But it’s ok because I’ve moved on. I’ve got my eyes on Chase Elliott, the driver of the no. 9 Napa Chevy.

I’ve been to 4 race tracks; Darlington, Charlotte, Martinsville, and Daytona. I could’ve added Richmond to the list but my dad decided we should stay home because there was a chance that the race would get rained out. It never rained. I’m still salty. But moving on...

NASCAR has been something that I grew up on but was never forced to like. I fell in love with it on my own as soon as I heard the engines roar and smelled the gasoline and burnt rubber. There’s just something magical about being at the racetrack, smelling the smells, feeling the vibrations, and knowing that you’re in the same place as your favorite driver. It’s like all of the worries of the world go away and you’re just enjoying the race.

I’m excited to do podcasts/write about NASCAR. It’s something that I’m passionate about and I really enjoy telling others about it.

Y’all ready for some hell?
