On Sunday, November 5th, 2023, the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season concluded with Ryan Blaney defeating Kyle Larson by one point to win the 75th championship in Cup Series history. It was the first championship for Blaney. Martin Truex Jr. claimed the regular season championship.

The 2023 Daytona 500 was won by Ricky Stenhouse Jr., while Brad Keselowski led the most laps with 42.

Byron captured the third spot in the final standings thanks to a series-leading six wins, 15 top-fives and 21 top-10s for an 11.0 average finish, leading the most laps in five starts along the way.

2. #5 Kyle Larson (-1, Finished 3rd in final race)

Larson claimed the runner-up spot after picking up four wins, 15 top-fives and 18 top-10s to nab an average finish of 14.6, while leading the most laps in five races.

1. #12 Ryan Blaney (Finished 2nd in final race)

Blaney secured the championship courtesy of three victories, eight top-fives and 18 top-10s for a 14.1 average finish, as he also led the most laps in two starts.
