Dibos picked up two top-fives and two top-10s in his three-start Cup Series career, finishing fifth in the Daytona 500 Qualifier in 1959 as well as in the summer race at Daytona later in the year. Like Cilloniz, Dibos also ran in the inaugural Daytona 500, although he dropped out after 44 laps due to suspension issues. He returned to Peru and began a career in politics, serving as the mayor of Lima, Peru’s capital city, from 1970 to 1973.
