As of the 2021 racing season, there have been a total of 26 drivers in the Cup Series with their hometown listed in Iowa. So far, drivers representing the Hawkeye State have taken a total of 21 wins, 141 top-fives and 245 top-10s in 1,142 starts.

5. Don White (Active 1954-72)

White earned seven top-fives and 12 top-10s in 24 Cup Series starts, but is better remembered for his time in the USAC Stock Car division as he won the championship there in 1963 and 1967. White was inducted into the USAC Hall of Fame in 2013.

4. Ramo Stott (Active 1967-77)

Stott took five top-fives and 17 top-10s in 35 starts, taking a best points finish of 39th in both 1967 and 1974.

3. Johnny Beauchamp (Active 1953-61)

Beauchamp claimed two wins along with seven top-fives and 10 top-10s in 23 starts, picking up a best points finish of 11th in the 1960 season. Beauchamp is also known for initially being declared the winner of the 1959 Daytona 500, until three days later when photographic evidence showed that Lee Petty was the winner.

2. Tiny Lund (Active 1955-75)

The 1963 Daytona 500 winner took five victories, 54 top-fives and 119 top-10s in 303 starts, claiming a best points finish of 10th in 1963. Tragically, Lund was killed in an accident at Talladega Superspeedway during the 1975 season. In 1994, Lund was inducted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame.

1. Dick Hutcherson (Active 1964-67)

Hutcherson picked up 14 wins, 64 top-fives and 73 top-10s in just 103 Cup Series starts, with his best points finish of second coming in 1965.
