On Wednesday of this week the Nuggets faced the Thunder in a game where there was a lot of expectation, in the first duel where these same teams met, Oklahoma defeated the Nuggets as visitors and this time Denver would receive them again at home, but this time the story would be different.

In a game which was very close, the Nuggets offense was very balanced where even the veteran Russell Westbrook, recently traded to Denver, would be one of the most important contributors to the offensive cause in this game.

For the Thunder Jalen Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander would be the ones who would balance the scales for the visiting team that refused to lose the undefeated and gave quick response to the Nuggets with every basket they made.

In the first half the Thunders would leave with an 11-point lead which would make the Nuggets consider a good reaction after the break.

In the 3rd quarter the Nuggets would get back into the game through their good defense and clearly improving their offense.

In the final quarter the game would become closer with much tighter offenses and defenses, Nuggets was leading by 2 points, 5 seconds left on the clock but a good defense by Peyton Watson blocking Gilgeous-Alexander who was trying to penetrate to the basket made the Nuggets win this great game and take away the undefeated Oklahoma team.

High scorers Russel Westbrook with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, Christian Braun with 24 points, 8 rebounds, Michael Porter Jr. 24 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and Nikola Jokic with 23 points, 20 rebounds and 16 assists.
