Excellent NBA night where we will enjoy one of the teams with more progress in the west the Denver Nuggets against the always competitive Portland Trail Blazers.
Game Summary
Millsap from the perimeter with an effective shot would premiere the marker, excellent ball movement fed the Nuggets offense and collective work was evident, take a slight advantage over Portland, Harris would find good accurate shots from the perimeter boosting the Nuggets advantage, finish the first quarter 38 - 26 up Nuggets.
Portland sought to react with an effective penetration with foul and Staukas basket, but the answer would come with a shot from Beasley's perimeter, the percentage for Denver at this point was excellent 11 - 9 in shots from the 3-point area, Portland would improve the defense and a basket of Lillard and another of McCollum would shorten the advantage to 8 points, Nugguets would regain the advantage with a quick break attack from Harris with a large basket and finding the foul, Jokic would begin to have offensive impact on the paint and extend the advantage, then would come an effective shot from the perimeter of Millsap, would finish the first half 68 - 53 up Nuggets.
Second Half
Portland would take advantage of the first minutes of this second half to shorten the advantage, but Murray with a shot from the perimeter kept it, then Lillard with a large basket would shorten the advantage to 7 points, Denver continued to work well and acted with stable offense, Lillard would arrive and would convert a distant shot from the perimeter with a few seconds to finish the fourth, but then another shot of 3 points from Lyles would basket ending the clock 91 - 85 would finish the fourth Nuggets up.
The game became very competitive, Aminu with a quick break marking a eurostep would ignite a reaction, they would shorten the advantage to 3 points in a game that looked attractive from the beginning, McCollum would basket a float and the game would be only 1 point, Morris would score a great shot from the perimeter that would give respite to Nuggets, McCollun would basket half a distance over Jokic and shorten again on the scoreboard, McCollum would equal the scoreboard with less than 1 minute to play, a great shot from Harris from the perimeter would give advantage to Nuggets with a few seconds to play, McCollum with a dump assisted by Leonard would place the scoreboard at 1 point 113 -112 then with defensive pressure from Portland Harris would make him lose the ball, there would be 5 seconds left and the ball in Trail Blazers possession to win, Denver would have to make his best defense and so they executed, because in an uncomfortable mid-distance shot for McCollum which Denver missed would take the victory in an attractive and exciting game 113 - 112 so the scoreboard would end.
Details and Personal Analysis
Denver Nuggets one of the teams that come with better ascent began to deploy their powerful offensive in the game, evidently played a great first half with great success from the perimeter zone with a high percentage of field, their rivals the Portland Trail Blazers had no answer at that stage of the game, but at the beginning of the second half Portland woke up and the game remained closed until the last instant where the defense of the Nuggets did a great job to get the game and get a valuable visitors victory.
