Hard News
After getting up a little late on Sunday because I try to rest longer on weekends, when I checked the twitter application and observed the trends I saw Kobe's name but I thought maybe he had donated some money, released some audiovisuals or had a new program, but when I read that he had died I didn't believe it, I think that something similar happened to many people in the world, but then I went deeper into the news and it seemed to me an extremely devastating event.
At one point I thought a lot of things and I had read that he was with all of his daughters but it wasn't entirely true, even knowing that he was with his inseparable daughter, a prospect for women's basketball who was in training under the guidance of Kobe himself, a girl in whom he saw himself reflected and who was giving him a second life in basketball, it seemed doubly devastating to me.
Undisputed Legend
It's hard to say goodbye to a legend who retired in his prime, to one of the best basketball players on the planet, who was an elite player on a select list, who made a big impact on every single season and world tournament in which he left his mark, With an impressive life record of obtaining the greatest achievements of an athlete in the sport, Kobe Bryant not only loved basketball but also made us love his way of taking up the game, we who since the golden age felt love for this beautiful sport.
I am surprised that just after Lebron James set the record for taking Bryant's place among the NBA's top scorers, a day later Kobe died in a tragic accident that is difficult to process, even as I write this.
Authentic Love for Basketball
Kobe Bryant dedicated a short film to one of the main loves of his life, the basketball with which he grew up and developed his life, which gave him the opportunity to be great and was immortalized in the eyes of the world. I had to say goodbye to Kobe, a legend that will never die because it will remain in our hearts with an incredible and determining championship spirit, which raised the discipline of basketball to a level of privilege.
I wish to leave the documentary Dear Basketball, Kobe's gift to basketball and to those of us who love this incredible discipline and I will also attach a video that shows a great part of his amazing achievements, that of a legend who left us very soon.
May God have your souls in His Holy Glory.
