Building a championship team cost a lot of price and sacrifices and the Lakers came with a high price trading their future to win the championship now. Getting Anthony Davis cost them Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Josh Hart. Those are three rising stars that can be all-stars in the future. They traded them away for a chance to compete for a championship. But, nobody can blame them as the Lakers don't want to waste another good year left in LeBron's career.
The Lakers did a great job keeping one young star in Kyle Kuzma. And when Kuzma was asked about his friends being traded to New Orleans, he said Ball and BI were excited.
Now, Kuzma has the chance to play with two generational talent in Anthony Davis and LeBron James and compete for a championship. He's excited about it but he's still determined to reach his full potential and be the star people expected him to be. This will be a fun 2019-2020 season. Let's see how this works out for Kuzma and for Ball, Ingram, and Hart with the Pelicans.
