Hello Scorum Fans! Today I present to you Episode 42 of NBA Highlights, and for today's Episode, we will have a short recap of Game 4 of the playoffs match between the Portland Trail Blazers VS the Denver Nuggets where the Nuggets defeated the Blazers, 116-112 on Sunday night.
After a 4 over time game in Game 3, both the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers shows no sign of being tired and exhausted as they fight for Game 4 tonight. It was an important win for the Nuggets to avoid being down 3-1 in the series. Jamal Murray show up huge here in Game 4 putting up 34 points while Nikola Jokic who played 65 minutes in Game 3 had another triple double finishing with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. His over 9 assists a game was the highest in this year's post season and the highest that a center ever achieved in NBA History. Paul Millsap also played well scoring 21 points with 10 rebounds to help Jokic and Murray defeat the Blazers.
On the other side, Lillard and McCollum as usual played awesome basketball scoring 28 and 29 points respectively but still came up short in a close battle in the fourth period. Seth Curry played like his first name was Steph hitting 3 straight three-pointers in the second period to give the Blazers a 63-57 half time lead. But in the third quarter the Blazers outscored the Nuggets 27-14 to take the lead back to them. Jamal Murray was the hero in the final seconds of the game as he sank the much needed free throws that gave the Nuggets a 4 point edge to win the game.
