Hello Scorum Fans! Today I present to you Episode 44 of NBA Highlights, and for today's Episode, we will have a short recap of Game 5 of the playoffs match between the Portland Trail Blazers VS the Denver Nuggets where the Nuggets defeated the Blazers, 124-98 on Tuesday night.
Another solid performance again by the Joker, Nikola Jokic as he lead the Denver Nuggets with 25 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists to get the W and have the chance to advance to the Conference Finals in the next game if they beat the Portland Trail Blazers on the road. But Jokic is not the only one who played well tonight, as Paul Millsap used his experience finishing the game with 24 points and 8 rebounds.
It was a blow out win for the Nuggets and they showed it immediately in the opening tip-off. They started the game with a 7-0 run but the Blazers rolls back. And in the second period, the Nuggets started to pull away and get a huge advantage and the Blazers never came back again. It was a clear dominant performance by the Nuggets. They owned the paint in this game as they couldn't be stopped. They started the 4th with a 28 point lead and the lead was extended up to 31 points as the starters heads to the bench to get some breather and the reserves gave them the rest they needed.
