Hello Scorum Fans! Today I present to you Episode 45 of NBA Highlights, and for today's Episode, we will have a short recap of Game 5 of the playoffs match between the Milwaukee Bucks VS the Boston Celtics where the Bucks defeated the Celtics, 116-91 on Wednesday night!
The Bucks will now advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2001 after a blowout win against the Boston Celtics at home in Game 5 and the Boston Celtics are now eliminated in the playoffs and we might've seen Kyrie Irving's last game as a Celtic. The Bucks just dominated the whole series after the Celtics steal game 1. From there, they won 4 straight to finished off the series. Giannis Antetokounmpo was unstoppable and will probably win the MVP award. He's been brilliant this season averaging career high in points, rebounds, assists and field goal percentage. They had the best record in the NBA and now entering the Conference Finals.
It was a close game in the first period but the Bucks rallied in the second and close out the first half with a 52-39 lead. From there, the Bucks continued to grind and the Celtics couldn't make a come back. It was a blowout win by the Bucks. Seven Bucks players scored in double figures. Giannis lead them with 20 points while Khris Middleton had 19 points. Eric Bledsoe added 18 points. I think one of the keys why the Bucks are successful is their bench. George Hill has been terrific the whole series as well as Pat Connaughton and Nikola Mirotic.
The Boston Celtics' season is over so, what's next for them? What's next for Kyrie Irving? Do you think he will stay or go? I believe that he will not stay with the Celtics. He might go to the Knicks, to the Nets, or even to the Lakers. But, who knows? Let's wait until July and see where will he go next.
