Hello Scorum Fans! Today I present to you Episode 70 of NBA Highlights, and for today's Episode, we will have some highlights from the first overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, Zion Williamson.
The 2019 NBA Draft is finally in the books and as expected of the New Orleans Pelicans, they drafted Zion Williamson with the 1st overall pick. No doubt Zion Williamson is the best player in this year’s draft class so the Pelicans did what has to be done. They did it perfectly and did not even have a second thought in drafting Zion. The pressure is on for the Duke star. It’s said that he is the next big thing since LeBron James. They said he can change a franchise. That's a lot of expectations for him. Let’s see if he can meet our expectations or even exceed it.
It was a lucky year for the Pelicans as they got the 1st overall selection unexpectedly. And since winning the NBA Draft lottery, they are already thinking about drafting none other than Zion Williamson. Now, the University of Duke product will now be in charge of taking the New Orleans Pelicans to the next level and do what Anthony Davis failed to do with the team. Davis can’t carry a team alone, so could Williamson do it? Can he prove it? Let’s see.
