Hello Scorum Fans! Today I present to you Episode 75 of NBA Highlights, and for today's Episode, we will talk about the 2019 Most Valuable Player Awardee, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks!
Finally, another NBA season has ended all the hard work of every player paid off. Especially the best players in the league who received their awards in the 2019 NBA Awards night. And for the Most Valuable Player award, the winner is none other than Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks! The Bucks is the team in the league who won 60 games led by Giannis who averaged 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists with a player efficiency rating of 30.95. What an impressive season for Giannis. He beat James Harden of the Houston Rockets who was second in MVP voting and Paul George of the Oklahoma City Thunder who was third. It was a tight battle especially against Harden who averaged 36.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 7.5 assists with a Player Efficiency Rating of 30.62. Some believe that Harden should've won the award. But Giannis led the Bucks to be the best team in the league. And he is the best player on the best team in the NBA. Harden was the better scorer but Harden is the better two-way player. Both are deserving to win the award. But, it's Giannis' year to take home the award.
