Reminder: I just want to let fans of basketball know that if you did not watch Kobe's final NBA game against the Utah Jazz at home on April 8th, 2016, then prepare to give 20 minutes of your time to be entertained and captivated by this clip.

I recommend not skipping through to the end of the 20 minutes so that you can experience the ebb and flow of the game and build up of crowd reactions best you can.

It truly was a Hollywood ending moment.

What does it take to be Great?

What does it mean to be Great?

What level of focus, dedication, and determination must one have to be Great in moments that can carry so much significance?

This is something that is not fully determined and not yet realized by many.

On his last night out, Kobe Bryant took it to another level in terms of measuring human determination and turning on a superior level of focus (or which spectators would call it- "putting on the blinders") on a grands stage.

My top reactions after watching this:

  • Maybe Tom Brady would've took the cake with his historic 25 point comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI, but he didn't retire after that. He's still going, which is crazy!! ... But back to him later...
  • Did MJ have a finish like this?
  • Kobe's wife had a hard time keeping her clothes on at front row while watching Kobe.
  • The crowd couldn't tell if they came to see a basketball game or to a Hall of Fame induction

Much respect to Kobe...
