Former Washington Wizards "bad boy" Gilbert Arenas spoke with Jon Gold about how important is gambling in the NBA.

Gilbert points that this is not about money, but more about winning.

"I've heard that this Celtics team, with Garnett, Allen and Pierce, were betting Rolls-Royces on a plane. There's nothing fun about that. Those guys are trying to ruin you. It’s like putting Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan and Floyd Mayweather on a gambling table. That’s not about money. They have money. They’re trying to fuck you up. They’re trying to make you hurt. For that moment, they’re taking your soul."

That gives some explanation why in Arenas and Crittenton's locker room conflict were involved guns.
