There are many exciting things about being an NBA fan. Other than watching games, there are other events that can make us excited or sometimes disappointed. What I am talking about are the events like the Off-season, where trades are happening, the summer league, training camps and many more. Draft night is also a delighting event because new NBA players will enter the league and we will see rising superstars and young talents finally get selected by an NBA team.

Another one is Free-agency, where signing of free agents occurs to rebuild a team or to improve it. Sometimes it's more exciting to see what's going to happen in free-agency than watching the NBA Finals or some playoff games because year after year we see big names changes team, some build their own big three or super teams, and we tend to feel different to saw a player play for another team and not for the team we used to saw him play.

Events like that are sometimes more thrilling and exciting than an actual game, and today I am going to discuss the big trades that may happen before the trade deadline next season.

The main reason why I think Gordon Hayward will be traded is the quick development of Jayson Tatum. You know what I mean if you watched Boston last season especially in the playoffs. Tatum is now a rising star and he already showed it very early in his career, playing a very outstanding Rookie season. Tatum will surely be better for years to come. His talent and work ethics is unremarkable.

I believe the person behind his high work ethics and quick development is non other than "The Black Mamba" himself, Kobe Bryant, who mentors Tatum and trains him. What would you expect to an already talented player mentored by one of the greatest to ever play the game of basketball? Tatum is just getting started and I am very much assured that he is a star in the making.

There is also another young player who is getting better in his second year, Jaylen Brown. Brown and Tatum looks like already one of the best 1-2 punch combination in the NBA. It's not always a good thing because their development becomes a problem to the front office of the Boston Celtics' organization. Their roster is very crowded at the wing position. Gordon Hayward is back next season and Coach Brad Stevens will not be happy if Tatum's or Brown's minutes decreases because of the comeback of Gordon Hayward. This Celtics team is already great even without Hayward so I think they must trade him and fill their hole at the center position. I believe that Hayward is still a valuable piece and many team will want the service of Hayward.

The Portland Trail Blazers are on trade talks for a long time now, but no deal has been done in their plan to break their explosive back court of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum to surround either of them the best supporting cast they needed. Portland has a weak spot at the small forward position and in the power forward. They already have a nice center in Jusuf Nurkic and maybe filling up their weak spots will be a great move.

They can acquire big time players in exchange for CJ McCollum because his value is at a superstar level. He is a great shooter who can create space using his great handles. He can also drive to the basket and finish strong to the rim. McCollum is also a clutch player who can handle the pressure and put his team on his back at crucial moments. He proves that when Dame was hurt and unable to play. So the Blazers should deal him now before the season starts.

No surprise for this one, as Lonzo Ball is involved in trade talks and the Los Angeles Lakers are trying to shop him. The Lakers' primary target in exchange for Lonzo Ball is the all-star point guard Damian Lillard to pair him up with LeBron James. I think the Lakers are thinking that Lonzo and LeBron may not fit well that's why they want a scoring guard to pair with LeBron. LeBron is proven to be very effective with a scoring point guard at his side. We saw it with Kyrie Irving as the duo of LeBron and Irving win a championship in Cleveland.

But there is one problem in trading Lonzo Ball, its LaVar Ball, his father. Ball's team reportedly leaked a knee injury to avoid the trade and scare away any possible team who is interested in Lonzo. Maybe the Lakers should get rid of Lonzo and LaVar early before LaVar make a noise with his talking and media appearances. Lonzo is a good player but having LaVar around is not good for the team so Magic Johnson should move now and bring Damian Lillard to Los Angeles.
