Players are in tears after Caris LeVert of the Brooklyn Nets suffered a gruesome season ending leg injury after he tries to block a shot in their match against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night. Emotions was all over the floor as players for both teams are speechless after seeing LeVert's leg. It was like a Gordon Hayward injury and everybody felt lonely after the incident.

Injury always sucks! LeVert is having a breakout season for the Nets and playing the best basketball of his career. He is coming out of his shell and starting to become a stud. And in my opinion, LeVert is sure to have a strong case as the most improve player of the year if not for the injury. LeVert is averaging 18.4 points, 3.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds this season and having an 18.89 Player Efficiency Rating. It's very hard for a player to turn out like this after having a great season. It's sad to see a young player go down like this.

LeVert works his ass off this past summer and improved his game. He wants to get better. He wants to help his team and he wants to win. His passion is overwhelming and he loves to compete. It was all sadness from all the people in the arena. He was playing well and starting to find his way to the next level. He has the potential to reach an all-star level but all of that was taken away from him by just a few seconds. I hate injuries. All we can do now is pray for his fast recovery. Let's hope he came back strong just like how Paul George and Gordon Hayward did. Basketball is life for the NBA players and you cannot take that away from them easily. It will be hard. Physically and emotionally but let's hope he can come back better.
