Good Day basketball fans! Here is another NBA preseason game recap and today's game that I will feature is the match between the Lakers and the Clippers. The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 103-87 on Saturday night. A new look Clippers is set to start a new era as their big three of Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan are now all gone.

"Sweet Lou" Lou Williams led the Clippers finishing the game with an outstanding performance once again. He posted 19 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal shooting 3 for 4 from down town. Williams played 19 minutes only but still provided strong numbers. Tobias Harris also played great scoring 18 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists in 24 minutes of playing time.

Clippers rookie, Shai Gilgeous-Alexader played good finishing the game with 12 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. Forward/center Montrezl Harrell had 12 points and 6 rebounds in 18 minutes. Newly acquired veteran center Marcin Gortat added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 1 assist shooting 71.4 percent from the field. Gortat seems to be a downgrade for the Clippers at the center position but he can still provide veteran skills and mindset for the young Clippers guys.

For the Lakers, LeBron James did not play any single minute today so it's Brandon Ingrams night but unfortunately, he had a poor performance finishing the game with only 10 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 1 block. He shot just 30 percent only on 3 for 10 shooting from the field. Kyle Kuzma's night was fine contributing 15 points and 4 rebounds. Josh Hart, Michael Beasley and Ivica Zubac all had 8 points in the game while Lance Stephenson goes for 9 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. And lastly, Rajon Rondo dishes 10 dimes.

The Lakers looks fine and I believe they will be in the playoffs this upcoming season. I see a lot of improvements from players like Ingram, Hart and McGee. Let's see what will happen when the season begins.

The Clippers next match will be against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night and the Lakers will face the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.
