Damian Lillard is one of the most loyal players in the league today. Despite year after year failures in the playoffs, Lillard still doesn't show any signs of wanting out of Portland. His commitment to the team is still the same and he loves where he is until today. Despite being linked to other teams especially the Lakers and a possible team up with the best player in the planet LeBron James, he still wants to stay in Portland. We are not sure about his plans in the future and it's only him who knows where he really wanted to be.

In an interview, Lillard stated that he is happy in Portland and he wants to build something there. He said that he is playing for a great organization and the only way that he will be wanting out of Portland is when the team itself don't want him anymore. The team is relying in the All-star guard for years now since they drafted him. They believe that Lillard have what it takes for them to succeed. But in the stacked Western Conference, it's really very difficult to compete.

In today's NBA, winning in the Western Conference is hard. For Portland, it's almost impossible to win in the West because of the Golden State Warriors. But with LeBron James, anything is possible. He's done many unexpected things and he can bring the worst team to the top. He has proven that for many years and I'm sure Dame will have more chance of winning if he teams up with LeBron in Los Angeles.

Other people believed and agree with what Kevin Durant stated about teaming up with LeBron James. Durant said that it's a very toxic environment and that is the main reason why other superstars doesn't want to team up with LeBron according to Durant. All attentions of medias and fans are in LeBron James and he thinks that it's toxic. Maybe he's just jealous. But for Damian Lillard, he thinks that he can be better if he teams up with LeBron James. He would definitely do that if given a chance and if the Trail Blazers decided to trade him.

We have to admire Lillard's loyalty with his franchise. He's been their franchise cornerstone for years now and that is something we don't see often on other players today. Stars tend to change teams over and over again to find a better chance in winning a championship. And for Lillard, he wants to win it in Portland.

Now, Lillard's future with the team is on the team's front office's hands now. It's up to them if they will still believe in their all-star guard. Let's see what's ahead for Damian Lillard.
