Despite the Phoenix Suns' lost to the Sacramento Kings, 106-102 on Monday night, rookie DeAndre Ayton still puts on a show in his NBA preseason debut finishing with an outstanding performance with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocks shooting an impressive 56.3 percent from the field. DeAndre Ayton already shows the league that he is really something special! I can't wait to watch him face Anthony Davis and Joel Embiid and see what he can do against those two monsters.

Ayton played 30 minutes and he outplayed the number 2 overall pick Marvin Bagley III of the Sacramento Kings who only posted 7 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks shooting a poor 2 for 7 from the field. Ayton was all over the floor and he was very efficient in the pick en roll. He always put himself in the right position to catch a lob pass or an easy layup. Ayton has a ton of moves in the post and opponents are struggling defending him.

Sacramento shot well from beyond the arc hitting 11 threes in 25 attempts. They finished shooting 44 percent from the three-point line. Former Dallas Mavericks guard Yogi Ferrell was terrific especially from deep hitting 6 triples finishing the game with 26 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal while De'Aaron Fox only scored 12 points and 5 assists. Harry Giles also had a fine night and better than Marvin Bagley III after he posted 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Willie Cauley-Stein added a double double of 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Josh Jackson totaled 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals while TJ Warren had 16 points and 4 rebounds. Trevor Ariza who played his first game as a member of the Phoenix Suns contributed 8 points in 17 minutes of action.

Ayton was very surprising and I didn't expect that he will be that good already while Marvin Bagley III was disappointing.

Josh Jackson recorded 17 points, 5 rebounds,
