Let's have some NBA news for today scorum fans. The Minnesota Timberwolves are struggling to find a deal for Jimmy Butler that would suit up their taste as the season begins. Butler decided to sit in their past few games as part of his trade demand. The Wolves could't agree with some offers but just early in the morning here in my country, I heard some guys talking about Jimmy Butler. I heard them said that Jimmy would eventually end up being part of the Houston Rockets and they are 100 percent sure about it. After I heard that, I immediately went to my PC then make some research. And boom! I confirmed it, Butler will be traded to the Houston Rockets by Tuesday.
I was shocked by the news I have read and I don't know if I will believe this but there's so many news around the internet that is confirming it. They already have the exact date of when the trade will happen. If this is true, based on their sources, the Minnesota Timberwolves will trade Jimmy Butler for Houston's PJ Tucker or Gordon plus a four future first round picks!
It is said that the Rockets already offered this deal to Minnesota but the Wolves declined it immediately. But now, I think in desperation to clean up the mess in Minnesota and for them to be able to move on from the stress and conflict of the team, and for the chemistry to work out, I think the Wolves decided to reconsider Houston's offer and accept it for the sake of their team. The season already started and the Wolves are still struggling in dealing with these kinds of problems. They should now be dealing with their game plan problems but instead, they still have no stable roster because of Jimmy. So if the Wolves will truly pull this trade, that would fix the problem and they can move on now.
It will also help the Rockets as they were also struggling to start the season. They cannot win continuously and consistently because of their defensive problems. Butler would immediately give them a boost at the defensive end of the floor and another fire power in offense as well. And if the trio of Paul, Harden and Butler worked out with Carmelo Anthony off the bench, the Rockets can surely compete with the Golden State Warriors and will have the largest chance to defeat them.
