The Kawhi Leonard drama has now come to an end as the San Antonio Spurs traded The Klaw to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for DeMar DeRozan. Kawhi hasn't played much last season because of an injury so he must prove next season that the Raptors made a right decision trading their franchise player. Kawhi already said that he wanted to play in L.A. and he's likely to join the Lakers next off season when he become a free agent. The Raptors are in a gamble trading their franchise player to a one-year rental but there are some factors that Kawhi may consider to re-sign with the Toronto Raptors so the Raptors can be a little confident that Kawhi might stay.

One thing Kawhi should consider is the Toronto Raptors organization. The Raptors is a great organization. Even though Toronto's front office failed to retain every single star they've had, the team is one of the top-notch organizations in the league who knows how to treat their star. (not including the decision they made for DeMar). The Raptors can surround Kawhi the right pieces to compete for a championship. The Raptors can thrive in the weak Eastern Conference and the only obstacles for them are the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Toronto is one of the greatest cities in the world. They have a great fan base. And who wouldn't love to have Drake court side to support the team every game. Kawhi would love to see these awesome crowd who is one of the most loyal fan bases in the world. Their home games are always sold out and every playoffs game, the whole city is watching even outside the Air Canada Center.

Kawhi Leonard once stated that he doesn't want to lead a team and become the first option. He doesn't want to take all the pressure in him. So Kawhi should stay and make his own superteam in Toronto. Toronto is a great organization with a top-notch front office so building a super team is a possibility for Kawhi and the team. There will be top-tier free agents in 2019 including Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler and Kyrie Irving so the Raptors and Kawhi can lure one or two of those free agents to build a super team in the Eastern Conference. Kyrie and Butler are rumored to be planning to team up and dominate the East when they become free agents in 2019 so teaming up with Kawhi Leonard is the best decision they can make. And by that time, the Golden State Warriors' dynasty could come to an end and the big three of Kyrie, Butler and Kawhi can dethrone them and change the game once again.
