There are only less than 20 games remaining for this regular season to end and we are all starting to smell the playoffs and the teams that are likely to make it to the 16 playoff spots. Late this season, some teams are still trying to make some boost in their rosters to get ready for the playoffs and some teams are trying to load up for their hopes to steal a playoff spot. Now, let's talk about some news and rumors.
Gasol to the Bucks!
The San Antonio Spurs recently bought out the veteran Spaniard center Pau Gasol making him a free agent and sign with another playoff bound team. After the buy out agreement, Adrian Wojnarowski announces that Gasol is planning to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks, and it's now official. Gasol is now a member of the top team in the Eastern Conference. The reason for the buyout agreement between Gasol and the Spurs is the playing time Gasol is getting. Coach Popovich said that it's hard for Gasol not to play or play limited minutes only so they both agreed on what's best for him. With the Bucks' lack of bigs after trading Thon Maker, Gasol will immediately fit in for sure and help the Bucks in the playoffs with his experience.
Eric Bledsoe signed a 4-year Extension with the Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks secured Eric Bledsoe for their future after he agreed to a 4-year 70 million dollar contract extension according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Bledsoe will likely be spending his prime years with the Bucks as he is now 29 years old and will be 33 when his contract ends. Bledsoe is averaging 15.9 points, 5.5 assists and 4.7 rebounds this season. He is also shooting the best percentage of his career at 49 percent from the field playing almost 30 minutes a game only.
