What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 for another episode of NBA Rumors to give you the hottest and latest news and trade rumors all around the NBA! Let's do it basketball fans!

It's over for L.A.

Yes, he have to accept it Lakers fans. The Los Angeles Lakers will not make the playoffs this season. There's nothing we can do even if we put the blame in Magic Johnson, LeBron James and who else? Because injuries hit the Lakers hard this season. I think if the whole roster is healthy, their chemistry would've been fantastic and they will likely be a 5th or 6th seed this season. But it's there, we have to face it. Injuries for me is the number one reason for L.A.'s failure.

Last 2 games, Ingram missed both games for L.A. because of a sore right shoulder but after further evaluation, it is revealed that he has a Deep Venous Thrombosis in his arms and he will be out for the rest of the season according to reports. DVT is not just a simple injury. It is a type of blood clot that forms in deep veins and could cause pulmonary problems if not prevented early. It's a condition where the blood is thicker than normal or isn't moving at the right speed. It's a serious injury that cause the early retirement of Chris Bosh who was diagnosed with blood clots. But we should not be scared because Ingram's case is not that serious yet. Because they can prevent it early and make a full recovery.

Lakers also Shut Down Lonzo Ball for the remainder of the Season

Lonzo Ball last played last January after suffering an ankle injury. He's a very important piece of the Lakers young core because he provides the best defense for the team. He is the best defender for L.A. who can shut down whoever he guards and his injury has been a major hit for the Lakers. L.A.'s defense falls down after Ball's injury and it hasn't been the same without him on the floor.

Many people said that Lonzo's injury is already been healed but the Lakers still don't allow him to play. Is this already a sign of tanking? Are they officially tanking? Ingram will not be back for the remainder of the season and they do it also on Zo. They will not get back to the court this season and the Lakers will have to finish this season without their best young players. Also LeBron was put into minutes restriction which is also a big sign of tanking. I think they are already giving up and that's the best thing to do. What's the point of playing Lonzo and Ingram when they don't have a chance to make it to the playoffs. They should just save their health and come back strong next season.

After all the struggles and issues, the sacrifices and hard work, the Lakers still came up short this season. Let's see what are they cooking for the next season. Can't imagine the playoffs without LeBron James.

That is all for today folks! I would love to hear your opinions about this article so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk! :)
