What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will have a short recap of the match between the Golden State Warriors VS Houston Rockets in Game 4 of their best of 7 playoff series for the Semi-finals. Let's start!

The Houston Rockets win again at home in Game 4 and tie the series at 2-2 after beating the Golden State Warriors, 112-108 on Monday night. They will head back to Oracle Arena for Game 5 on Wednesday night.

Game Recap

After awful nights by Stephen Curry in Games 1 to 3, he stepped up a little bit scoring 11 first-quarter points that gave the Warriors a 28-25 lead in the opening period but he's still not shooting well from the three-point line. He finished shooting 4 for 14 from beyond the arc and 12 for 46 in the whole series. He shot 3 for 10 in Game 1, 3 for 3 in Game 2 and 2 for 9 in Game 3. Kevin Durant was brilliant again putting up huge numbers again while James Harden still carrying his Houston Rockets with his offensive outburst scoring 38 points. Houston got a double-digit advantage in the second period but in the finals seconds, Andre Iguodala buried a buzzer-beater triple to cut the deficit to only 7 points to end the first half.

Houston held on their lead in the third period making it difficult for the Golden State Warriors to make a comeback. The Beard knocked out Draymond Green (which looks like a flop) after he hits him in the face after he shoots a three. Green remained on the floor for a moment but the refs just let it go. Houston even managed to extend the lead to 77-60 before the Warriors decreased it after the third period.

They started the fourth and final quarter with a nine-point lead and extended it immediately to 101-86 after an 8-2 rally including 4 points from James Harden. But in the middle of the final quarter, Draymond Green caught fire and scored six points leading the Warriors' 8-3 run to cut the lead down to only ten points.

With under 5 minutes left, Houston held the 10 point lead until the Warriors rally again using a little run and Steph hits a three to cut it to seven points, 108-101. And, again, a three by Steph Curry cuts the deficit again, but this time it's too close, 110-108 with 19 seconds left in the game. Then, Harden made one free throw and in the next possession, Curry and Durant both missed a three-pointer for the tie and the Rockets win the game.

My Thoughts

It's nice to see the Rockets play better than the Warriors. I thought that the Warriors will come back after losing in Game 3 and I also thought that Steph Curry will finally shine in this game but James Harden just showed them that he's the MVP. Yes, Curry scored 30 points but look at his shooting percentage from deep. Durant is very consistent in this year's playoffs but with Curry and Thompson struggling, he can't beat Harden and his crew. Houston converted 17 of their 50 three-point shot attempt while the Warriors just made 8 of their 33 attempts. Next game will be the hardest game for both teams. We'll see how both teams prepared for Game 5.

Stats.

James Harden - 38 pts, 10 reb, 4 ast
Eric Gordon - 20 pts, 4 reb
PJ Tucker - 17 pts, 10 reb
Kevin Durant - 34 pts, 7 reb, 5 ast
Steph Curry - 30 pts, 4 reb, 8 ast
Klay Thompson - 11 pts, 7 reb
