What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the Anthony Davis trade Saga and how Coach Alvin Gentry would love the Idea of trading for the young Lakers players. Let's start!

The Lakers are now set to get back on track after hiring Coach Frank Vogel and Assistant Coach Jason Kidd. They also got the 4th overall pick which can be a great asset for a trade. On the other hand, the Pelicans are very lucky to have the 1st overall pick which will become Zion Williamson for sure. But despite that, Anthony Davis still wants to be traded but the Pelicans are reportedly trying their best to keep AD and pair him with Zion. It's a very nice team for the Pelicans if AD stay. They will have Jrue Holiday at the guard position, then Zion as their wing and AD as their big. They also have great role players like Julius Randle (if he re-signs), and Jahlil Okafor. Then, they just need to sign the missing pieces that will complete their team. That would definitely be a threat in the West immediately.

That was their master plan but, another good thing that Coach Alvin Gentry was thinking is to pair Zion Williamson to L.A.'s young stars. He loves the idea of pairing Jrue Holiday with Lonzo Ball in the backcourt and them have a starting lineup of Holiday, Ball, Williamson, Kuzma and Ingram. A small ball lineup but very deadly on both ends of the floor. He thinks that those players can finally complete the deal for AD if the Lakers go for it. The Brooklyn Nets are also starting to make a move silently as they dreamed of putting AD and Kyrie Irving together with the Nets. They want to trade for AD and then sign Kyrie and they have a strong case on that dream.

I don't really think that it's a good move for the Lakers. They don't have to offer all of them for AD. I think they can use the 4th pick and just 1 or 2 of those 3 players plus Josh Hart. They can explore many options with the assets that they have and I think they have better options than the Nets and I don't really like the idea of trading Ball, Kuz and Ingram altogether. Anyway, anything can happen and no one knows what it is. We just have to wait and see in July.

That is all for today folks! I would love to hear your thoughts about this article, so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk! :)
