What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the rumors that the Lakers is now out of the race to acquire Kawhi Leonard. Let's start!

As the 2019 NBA Free Agency fast approaching, free agents should be making their decisions now. Kawhi Leonard is probably the best free agent out there and he was the most sought after star in the market. But now, he limits his preferred destinations to only two teams. The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the top destinations for Kawhi Leonard for quite some time but they are now out of the conversation. The only two teams left now are the Los Angeles Clippers and the Toronto Raptors. Now is the time to count the Lakers out officially.

According to Chris Broussard of Fox Sports Radio, Kawhi Leonard is not interested in joining LeBron James and Anthony Davis in Los Angeles.

After completely trading for Anthony Davis, the Lakers increased their chance to recruit a third superstar. But Kawhi Leonard is the type of player to join a super team to have an easy path to the Finals. And after the Lakers are out of the conversation, the Los Angeles Clippers are now the frontrunners to sign the Finals MVP. The Toronto Raptors still has a lot of work to do to convince Kawhi to stay. Let's see where will Leonard end up.

That is all for today folks! I would love to hear your thoughts about this article, so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk. 😁
