What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kobe Bryant's next challenge for him. Let's start!
Giannis Antetokounmpo put the world in notice after winning the 2019 Most Valuable Player Award. He put up incredible numbers throughout the year. He was one of the best two-way players. He was the most dominant player in the paint and at the same time, one of the best rim protector out there. He established himself as a great leader leading the Bucks to the top of the standings with the best record in the league.
Now, looking back at the time when Giannis was still not an MVP caliber player and still improving his game. One thing that motivates him to get better is the Black Mamba's challenge for him. In August of 2017, Kobe Bryant issued a challenge to Giannis via tweeter.
Now, Giannis Antetokounmpo finally completes the challenge. He is now the league MVP. But, right after Giannis won the award, Kobe was quick to issue another challenge. And this challenge is bigger. Kobe is now challenging Giannis to win a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks. He believes in Giannis' abilities and he knows that Giannis is not yet done.
Giannis will only get better from this point of his career. He's still young and he can still get many achievements. We will see if Antetokounmpo can complete Kobe's next challenge.
