What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the latest news and updates for the 2019 NBA Free Agency! Let's start!

Another one of the most surprising free agent's signings this year was Al Horford joining the Philadelphia 76ers. Everybody was shocked by his decision and nobody thought that he will end up signing in Philly. After the Sixers lost Jimmy Butler, they were able to replace him another all-star caliber player. This will be a scary starting five for the Sixers as they also retained Tobias Harris. Their first five would likely be Ben Simmons at point guard, Josh Richardson (acquired from the Jimmy Butler sign-and-trade) at shooting guard, Tobias Harris at Small forward, Al Horford at power forward and Joel Embiid at the center position. That would be one of the biggest lineups in the NBA. It's a pretty scary squad there and will likely dominate the Eastern Conference.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Al Horford has agreed to sign a deal worth $109 million for four years.

The backcourt of Joel Embiid and Al Horford would definitely be one of the best on both ends of the floor. They both can dominate in the paint, stretch the floor and be a rim protector. Losing JJ Redick is huge, but adding Josh Richardson is better. Also, Tobias Harris staying is nice despite paying him a massive amount. Sixers are looking to be at the top of the Eastern Conference next season and they have what it takes to get it.

Here are some of Al Horford's highlights from last season.

That is all for today folks! I would love to hear your thoughts about this article, so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk. 😁
