After being traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Chris Paul's future is still uncertain as the Thunder not planning to start the season with Chris Paul still on their roster. Ever since the Thunder acquired Paul from the Houston Rockets, they are aggressively finding a trade partner who is willing to absorb his massive contract. They would surely have a hard time finding a trade package for Paul but there are still other options to get rid of him.
Basketball analyst Stephen A. Smith breaks down how Chris Paul can end up joining LeBron James in Los Angeles. He said Paul should make a huge decision about this. He can stay in OKC and get his money or he can let them buy him out, accept a discounted amount and he's free to go and play for whatever team he likes. He can go join his close friend LeBron James in L.A. and compete for a championship.
It's not a bad decision for Paul if he does that. If he wants to win a championship before his career ends, he better go to L.A. and help his friend LeBron James and achieve the same goal. Win a championship. It's more important than losing a few million dollars when he let OKC buy him out.
