Nobody thought that the Los Angeles Lakers will still get their hands on Anthony Davis after failing to acquire him at the trade deadline last February. There are better teams that can make a better offer for AD in the offseason but the Lakers surprisingly pull off the trade which makes AD a Laker. Davis was happy about being traded to the Lakers as well as LeBron James despite giving up most of their young guys.
After being quiet for a long time after being traded to Los Angeles, Davis now has expressed his feelings about the trade.
And when asked about his thoughts of teaming up with LeBron James, Davis excitedly responded.
And then, Davis talks about money and legacy. He discussed how important legacy is then money.
And now, the Lakers are all set to make a run all the way to the finals. Let's see how Davis build his legacy as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. And will he stay there for the long term? Let's think about that later because what matters most is the 2019-2020 season.
