NBA Talk #201: Charles Barkley Speak out for Russell Westbrook

What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the latest news and updates for the 2019 offseason! Let's start!

Russell Westbrook averaged a triple-double for three straight seasons. But people still criticize him after all the great things he has done. People say he’s a ball hog, a stat padder, they say he’s just after the stats and not winning the game. His decision making has always been criticized especially when the game is on the line. And now that he’s a member of the Houston Rockets, many people still doubt him.

Russ is a great player. Individually and team-wise. I believe that. But fans are getting too hard on Westbrook and didn’t recognize what he has done for the game of basketball. One NBA Legend, Charles Barkley has spoken up for Russ. He has had enough of that criticism towards Westbrook that’s why he sends a little message for Westbrook’s doubters.

Every player made some mistakes every game. And I don’t believe that Russ is always after his stats than winning the game. He’s a competitive man and his work ethic is top-notch. He loves the game and he loves the fans. Barkley is right, Russ always gives his maximum effort night in and night and he deserves the respect.
