What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the latest news and updates for the 2019 offseason! Let's start!
The rising star D'Angelo Russell is now a member of the Golden State Warriors in a shocking turn of events. It was a great move by the Warriors after losing Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets. They were able to replace him an all-star guard and D'Lo would surely be helpful for the dubs.
Klay Thompson won't be able to see action on the floor at the start of the season after getting injured in the recent Finals match against the Toronto Raptors. So, he will be sidelined most of the 2019-2020 season. And that is where Russell should take over to fill up Klay's position.
And in an interview by Hoops Hype, Russell expressed his excitement about joining the Warriors and playing alongside Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
It will be a fun season for the Warriors especially when Klay Thompson gets healthy. Everybody doubts how Russell would fit with Klay and Steph. Would it be a three-guard lineup? Or will Russell come off the bench? Let's see.
