NBA Talk #205: The Warriors did not pressure Durant to Return from Injury

There are a lot of rumors that the Golden State Warriors did not handle Kevin Durant's injury well. Many believed that they rushed him to return even though his injury is not fully healed. After suffering a lower calf strain, the Warriors' doctors clear him to play in the Finals where he injured his Achilles. And that was the root of the rumors. People believe that it was the Achilles all the time and the doctors made a wrong diagnosis.

But, when KD was asked about that, KD did not blame the Warriors organization for his injury.

This kind of issues is serious. Like the Kawhi Leonard case in San Antonio. A player always knows if they can play. The doctor is not always right. Sometimes, the player itself knows what he is capable of. And for KD, he doesn't want to put the blame to the Warriors. Now, he will be out for the 2019-2020 season.
