What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the latest news and updates for the 2019 offseason! Let's start!
The Eastern Conference is clearly wide-open now that LeBron James is in the West and Kawhi Leonard also move to the West. James left the East joining the Lakers leaving the conference wide-open after 8 years of dominance. The defending champions Toronto Raptors has a lower chance to defend their title after the man who carried them to win their first championship has left them to join the Clippers.
So, this will leave Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Bucks and also Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and their Philadelphia 76ers to battle it out in the East. But, NBA legend Charles Barkley believes that the Sixers has a better chance to win it.
With the roster they have, the Sixers really are the favorites to win the East. But, Giannis Antetokounmpo will not allow that easily. He will be much stronger this season bringing all the improvement he works on this offseason. Also, the Boston Celtics are a little underrated as well as the Indiana Pacers. It will be a wild Eastern Conference and nobody can say who will come out of the East.
