What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the latest news and updates for the 2019 offseason! Let's start!
The last time we saw Monta Ellis play in the NBA was in 2017. After the Indiana Pacers let him go, there is no team that picked him up. He's only 33 years old and once one of the best guards in the league playing alongside Stephen Curry with the Golden State Warriors. Now, he was rumored to be seeking an NBA comeback.
Recently, Ellis was caught playing pick up games with Dallas Mavericks' young star Luka Doncic and some other players.
Ellis also played for the Dallas Mavericks and averaged 19 points with his tenure in Dallas. He was a liability in terms of outside shooting and as the NBA changes, his game was not well-fitted as of now. He needs to improve his shooting, but at his age, its probably a bit too late now. But, he is working hard and trying out for NBA teams participating in workouts. Will this be a sign of a comeback for Ellis? Let's see.
