What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the latest news and updates for the 2019 offseason! Let's start!

The Thunder didn't see the Westbrook and George trade coming. They didn't plan that. Their goal is to win a championship next season but in a surprising turn of events, they ended up trading their two best players and acquiring Chris Paul. And now, instead of a championship run, they are focused on rebuilding for the future.

According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, the Thunder will not rush trading Chris Paul. They will use him. They will play him until there is a great offer that they cannot resist.

There will absolutely be a nice offer even if the season starts. Chris Paul is still a valuable asset, a veteran that can change the pace of a team. He can be a great addition especially in a playoff-bound team who wants to have a strong playoff run. The Thunder did the right move here, they have to be patient.

That is all for today folks! I would love to hear your thoughts about this article, so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk. 😁
