What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the latest news and updates for the 2019 offseason! Let's start!
After the Toronto Raptors wins the NBA championship, the man who carried them all the way to win it left them during the offseason to play at home signing with the Los Angeles Clippers. But despite leaving the franchise, Kawhi Leonard still receives love and praise after bringing a championship to the City of Toronto.
One of his teammates, Marc Gasol has some message for him. He said that he deserves to do whatever he wants and people cannot blame him if he wants to play at home.
The Raptors is set to defend their title without their superstar Kawhi Leonard. But, they still have Pascal Siakam who has done incredible things during their championship run. There is also Kyle Lowry who was their leader and the heart of the team. They will still be a competitive team in the East but maybe not a championship contender anymore.
