What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the hottest and latest news around the NBA. Let's start!

This offseason, the negotiations between Indiana Pacers' forward Domantas Sabonis and their front office didn't go well at first. They were not able to agree with each other so the Pacers are forced to look for a trade partner for Sabonis.

Sabonis is a nice big man who is improving since he was drafted. He was one of the biggest surprises in his class. He averaged 14 points and 9 rebounds last season. Sabonis will become a restricted free agent next summer after his last year with the Pacers worth $3.5 million before the two parties agreed to a contract extension.

The Pacers have a lot of huge contracts in their roster right now. Myles Turner has a $72 million deal while Malcolm Brogdon just signed an $85 million deal this summer. There is also Jeremy Lamb who inked a $31 million contract in three years.

Sabonis is a productive big man. He can contribute well in scoring and rebounding. The Pacers have talked to several teams but the asking price is way too high. But despite that, many teams would be happy to have Sabonis in their line up. But luckily for the Pacers, they were able to convince him to sign a contract extension.

That is all for today folks! I would love to hear your thoughts about this article, so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk. 😁
