Good Day basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 at your service to give you another interesting basketball discussion. Today I will feature trade rumors which involves the name of superstar forward Anthony Davis. Let's do this!

After a successful season last year for the Boston Celtics reaching the Eastern Conference Finals and almost beating LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers without their All-star guard Kyrie Irving, Boston is now looking to finish the unfinished business last season. They are still aiming for a championship and now with a more complete and healthy team. Now that Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward are back, the team is now more complete and ready to dominate the East. That was all people were thinking before the start of the season, but Boston struggled at the start of the season and just couldn't find themselves at the right track and being just an average team or not the dominant team in the East people are expected them to be.

What's wrong with them? Chemistry? Rotation problems? How to utilize minutes for their wings? That was all of the things that can be considered but maybe other teams like the Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors got even better than last year that's why the Celtics looks like just a normal team in the East. We don't know but it can be because the Boston needs another star to lead them. What do you think? would you agree?

Celtics are trying to lure Anthony Davis from the Pelicans for over a year now, that's what the rumors said, but Boston couldn't find a deal that the Pelicans would surely accept. Of course, the Pelicans will not give up Davis without getting a real valuable asset in return. Davis is a top 5 player in the league and the trade value he would get is obviously very high. And another concern is, Davis is not showing any signs that he wants out of New Orleans. He is still being very patient with his situation with the team despite the failure they get year after year. Davis is still young but his talent is getting wasted in New Orleans.

Boston Can offer young players like Jaylen Brown or Terry Rozier and package them to an all-star veteran Al Horford together with some future 1st rounders. But I think that would not even be enough. I believe Jayson Tatum is the key for them to get AD. Jayson Tatum is their most important piece. He is more important than Gordon Hayward in my opinion and even if the Celtics include Hayward in a trade package for AD, that would also be not enough for the Pelicans to accept the deal.

The Los Angeles Lakers are also one of the front-runners in acquiring AD and they are also preparing some trade packages for AD. In my previous blog, I detailed there how much LeBron is interested in playing with AD in L.A. Now, the Lakers also had a lot of options to offer for the superstar forward. They had a lot of young talents also like the Boston Celtics. They have Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and Kyle Kuzma. They can also create a trade package sending any of those young players together with KCP plus future first round picks.

But if you are the Pelicans, who would you rather have in exchange for AD? If I'm the Pelicans I would rather have Jayson Tatum in my team than any of the Lakers young stars. Jayson Tatum's value cannot be compared to those L.A. young guys. Tatum is a more matured and complete player. We saw that last playoffs when he and Rozier carried the Boston Celtics all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals in his rookie year. Tatum's potential is way more higher than any of those L.A. boys. That is the edge that Boston have against the Lakers. They have a higher chance in getting AD is they are willing to give up Tatum. That could also be risky and they may regret that in the future when Tatum reach his full potential. But for a player like AD, I would be happy taking the risk just to get him.

That is all for today basketball fans! What do you think about these two teams? Which team would you like to get AD? Lakers or Boston? Drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk! :)
